The Toyota Proace City Electric is the result of a collaboration with the Stellantis Group and is one of four similar small vans – the other three being the Citroen e-Berlingo, Peugeot e-Partner and Vauxhall Combo Electric. Small on the outside yet big on the inside, the Proace City is a great van to lease if you’re operating in and around dense city centres.
Key highlights
The Toyota Proace City Electric comes with a single 50kWh battery pack, 134bhp motor and Icon trim level, but it is available in short-wheelbase (SWB) and long-wheelbase (LWB) versions. There’s also a people carrier called the Proace City Verso Electric. The smaller van has a slightly higher payload, while the longer van offers more storage space, but it’s the smart cargo system - essentially a hatch in the bulkhead - that helps increases this small van’s load-carrying ability.

The Toyota Proace City Electric has an official range of 168 miles and a payload limit up to 800kg. Coupled to 100kW-capable charging, it’s an incredibly versatile small van that can charge from 0-80% in just 30 minutes.
