Performance and range
The Volkswagen ID.Buzz Cargo promises an impressive range on a charge for a van. According to official tests it’s capable of up to 257 miles before needing to be plugged in (that’s around 218 miles in real-world driving although you’ll increase that around town). That’s a lot more than most alternatives.
When you do need to plug it in you won’t be waiting very long, as when using a suitable rapid charger, the ID. Buzz Cargo is capable of up to 170kW. That’s good for a five to 80% charge in around half an hour.
Performance is strong, too, thanks to a 201bhp electric motor delivering 0-62mph in 10 seconds.
