The Maxus eDeliver 9 might not be a household name like Sprinter, Transit or Crafter, but it’s one that you should certainly consider if you’re leasing a large van. It can deliver both impressive range or huge payloads depending on the specification with multiple body and battery sizes available.

The Maxus eDeliver 9 offers up to 11m3 capacity and a maximum payload of 1,200kg, making it one of the most impressive electric cargo carriers. There are standard and long wheelbase variations and various cab options giving you flexibility when ordering. However, to make life a little easier there’s just one trim level, and a generously equipped one at that, with touchscreen, smartphone connectivity, heated mirrors, reversing camera, parking sensors and air con all included as standard.
Performance and range
On the road, the eDeliver 9 is great. The 150kW motor is punchier than most on the market meaning you get a healthy dose of acceleration even if you’re cargo bay is packed. There are three battery choices – 51.5kWh, 72kWh and 88.55 kWh – offering between 112 and 185 miles. Remember the bigger the battery, the lower the payload, so make sure you balance the sums and pick the model that best suits your needs.

The eDeliver 9 is available in medium wheelbase (MWB) and long wheelbase (LWB) options. They鈥檙e both the same height (2,525 mm) and width (2,062 mm) but the LWB edition is longer and roomier at 5,940 mm vs the 5,546 mm MWB edition.
The range will depend on which battery version you鈥檝e selected, with the highest being the High Roof Van 88.5kWh edition at a range of 185 miles.
