About Dacia

Dacia is a Romanian car company, best known in Britain for its budget pricing.

The Dacia name goes all the way back to 1966, but Dacia cars weren’t sold in Britain until 2013. Perhaps the most important moment between these two dates came in 1999, when Dacia became part of the Renault Group.

Since then, the quality of Dacia’s cars has steadily improved while remaining true to the brand’s value-for-money roots. The Duster SUV in particular has established a strong following in Britain, while the Logan, Jogger, and Sandero are also popular models. Dacia now offers an electric car, the Spring, which undercuts the price of most rivals.
