Essential models come with more equipment than Access versions, but you still have to make do with steel wheels. At least you get a stereo with DAB digital radio and Bluetooth connectivity, manual air conditioning and a split folding rear seat instead of the Access model鈥檚 one-piece rear bench.

On the Duster Expression you get 16-inch wheels, body-coloured handles, silver wing mirrors, central differential locks and a rear view camera. In the cabin you鈥檒l find an 8.0-inch touchscreen, cloth upholstery, soft-touch steering wheel and steel door handles.

For the Duster Journey, Dacia fits 17-inch alloy wheels, grey door handles, roof bars and mirror housings, dark glass on rear windows and grey skid plates. Inside there鈥檚 automatic air conditioning, cloth upholstery, heated seats, fog grey detailing, multiview camera and blindspot warning.

The Extreme takes the regular Duster and makes it look more rugged. There are copper-coloured door mirrors, as well as copper stitching on the seats, centre armrest, and the trim around the handbrake. You鈥檒l also find unusual patterned exterior trim, designed to look like the contour lines on a map.
