If you鈥檙e planning to buy a Volkswagen in the next few years, you鈥檝e got a few exciting new models to look forward to.
The brand is launching the next-generation T-Roc SUV, a dinky electric car with a sub-拢22,000 price tag and a revamped version of the ID4.
Here鈥檚 every new model you can expect to see from Volkswagen before 2030.

New Volkswagen ID Polo
Volkswagen has been teasing a new small EV for years, and now it has a name. The new ID Polo will go on sale in 2026, with up to 280 miles of range and a price tag of around 拢22,000. A sporty GTI version will also be available shortly after.
The exterior design is still camouflaged for now, but you can make out the sleek headlights and LED rear light bar. There are also no pictures of the interior, but Volkswagen has promised the return of physical buttons in this car 鈥 a welcome change compared to the fiddly touch sliders you get in its current EVs.
New Volkswagen ID Cross
You can think of the new Volkswagen ID Cross as being an electric version of the current T-Cross small SUV. It鈥檒l sit alongside the ID Polo, and it鈥檚 also expected to go on sale in 2026.
The ID Cross has a 211hp electric motor powering the front wheels, and VW expects this car to have up to 260 miles of range. That鈥檚 20 miles less than the ID Polo, but this is to be expected on a taller and heavier car.
New Volkswagen T-Roc
This is Volkswagen鈥檚 last ever all-new internal combustion-engined car 鈥 the second-generation T-Roc. It鈥檒l be available with a choice of petrol or hybrid engines, although there is no option for a manual gearbox.
News Editor Jamie Edkins has taken a look around this car, and the interior is a massive improvement over the old car. Material quality is better, and it鈥檚 got spacious rear seats. The new T-roc will go on sale in early 2026, with prices expected to start from around 拢30,000.
New Volkswagen ID4
The Volkswagen ID4 will be getting a complete revamp in 2026, and there are reports that it could be renamed the ID Tiguan. There aren鈥檛 many details about what new tech you can expect to see, but it could get physical climate control switches to replace the touchscreen-based ones you get in the current car.
The design will also be completely revamped to bring it in line with new cars like the ID Polo and ID Cross.
Volkswagen ID Every1
Volkswagen hasn鈥檛 had a tiny city car since the Up was discontinued back in 2023, but now it has a spiritual successor in the ID Every1. This electric car is smaller than the ID Polo, and a production version is scheduled for a reveal in 2027.
It uses a 95hp electric motor, and VW says it will have 鈥渁t least鈥 155 miles of range. That鈥檚 15 miles more than the Dacia Spring can manage, and there may also be a version which can go further than this. Expect a price tag of below 拢20,000 when this car goes on sale.
