You get a lot for your money with the CX-30 Prime-Line, even though it鈥檚 the most affordable model in the range. A 10.25-inch colour display, satellite navigation, a six-speaker stereo, and a DAB radio are standard. Manual air conditioning is fitted, along with 16-inch alloy wheels. There are plenty of driver aids including adaptive cruise control.

Centre-Line cars are well equipped, especially when you consider that they鈥檙e just one up from the base specification. Centre-Line models have eight speakers, two more than the entry model, and a wireless charging pad that the cheaper car lacks. An auto-dimming rear-view mirror, front parking sensors, and climate control rather than basic air conditioning are among the other upgrades.

Homura sits in the middle of the CX-30 range and comes with enough kit to make you question whether it鈥檚 worth spending more. Upgrades over the entry-level model include 18-inch black alloys, a gloss black front grille, rain-sensing wipers, and electrically adjustable heated door mirrors. Smart keyless entry is also included in the price. There are heated front seats, and black cloth upholstery with red stitching.

Buyers enjoy plenty of toys if they opt for Exclusive-Line. Adaptive LED headlights are fitted, along with LED daytime running lights. Exclusive-Line cars come with a gloss black front grille and a chrome finish signature wing. The stereo is upgraded to a 12-speaker surround-sound system from Bose. Other features include a power lift tailgate, a power tilt-and-slide sunroof (e-SkyActiv X models only) and rear privacy glass.

For all the bells and whistles, choose Takumi spec. The interior comes with black leather seat trim with brown leather inserts. The driver鈥檚 seat is electrically adjustable, and a head-up display projects important information into the driver鈥檚 line of sight. There鈥檚 a heated steering wheel, a bird鈥檚-eye-view camera system, and several driver assistance systems that aren鈥檛 fitted lower down the range.
