Since the Range Rover is an upmarket car, even the entry-level SE model is highly equipped. Standard-fit features on this trim level consist of adaptive cruise control, three-zone air-con, a 13.1-inch touchscreen interface and 20-way adjustable heated and ventilated front seats. Blind spot monitoring and a 360-degrees parking camera come as standard, too.

HSE models come broadly with the same kit as SE cars, though there are a few notable new additions here. A premium surround sound stereo and a head-up display come as standard on this spec, and the Park Assist function that can control the steering for you when you鈥檙e reversing into a parking spot can be handy to have on a car as vast as the Range Rover.

Autobiography is the mid-spec version of the luxury off-roader, and this Range Rover gets an Autobiography exterior pack and illuminated branded kick plates. It also adds an auto-folding load cover and upgraded version of the Meridian surround sound audio system.

The top-of-the-range Range Rover SV has loads of model-specific styling details inside and out, but the main things that marks it out are the Executive Class Comfort Plus rear seats. They're electrically-adjustable, heated, cooled and massaging; they have memory and headrest pillows; there are power-deploying cupholders and an 8-inch touchscreen to control entertainment and climate control.
