It may be the starting point for the Giulia range, but the Sprint doesn鈥檛 scrimp on kit. It gets an 8.8in touchscreen infotainment system with sat-nav and Bluetooth, active cruise control, rear-view camera, and heated seats/steering wheel.

Veloce models have the performance to match the Giulia鈥檚 looks. They come fitted with Alfa鈥檚 280hp petrol engine as standard, get uprated brakes and the same excellent-looking exterior styling pack fitted to Speciale models. Inside, you get Alfa鈥檚 Ferrari-style gearshift paddles and a leather interior. It gets Alfa鈥檚 uprated, 8.8-inch sat-nav system and front parking sensors. Everything else is carried over from the basic model, including climate control, rear parking sensors, cruise control, auto lights and wipers, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and a DAB digital radio.

The Tributo model tops the Giulia range and is offered exclusively in the colours of the Italian flag - Alfa Red, Montreal Green or Banchise White, with a black roof. It also gets 19-inch alloy wheels, a darkened front grille, black leather sports seats, red stitching and a carbon dashboard. Equipment is generous including a premium sound system and adaptive suspension.

The Guilia Intensa is the highest spec Giulia you can buy before going to the Giulia Quadrifoglio super-saloon. Intensa trim brings black and gold alloys, adjustable suspension, a Harman Kardon sound system and a standard driver assistance pack, which includes intelligent speed control and an active driving assist.
