Peugeot salt and pepper mills

Their salt and pepper mills have been around for over a century, and are still super popular today 鈥 their bestseller is the , which you can get as a set for 拢69.99. They鈥檙e known for being really well-made, with strong grinding mechanisms that last a lifetime.

Volkswagen currywurst

So, you鈥檝e got your premium-quality salt and pepper grinders, surely you need some food to season with them? Well, German car manufacturer Volkswagen has been making a brand of sausage, known as currywurst, since 1973.
The sausage is made in its Wolfsburg Volkswagen Plant and has been described as the 鈥渕ost-produced of any of Volkswagen鈥檚 parts鈥 鈥 speaking of which, it even has its own part number 199 398 500 A. What鈥檚 more, Volkswagen sold an impressive 8.5 million sausages in 2024, compared to just 5.2 million vehicles.
Volkswagen also makes a tangy ketchup to accompany the currywurst, with a pack of sausages and a bottle of ketchup selling for around 鈧9 (拢7.70) in the shops. Note that the ketchup has got a bit of a kick to it 鈥 don鈥檛 say we didn鈥檛 warn you!
Bentley鈥檚 Macallan Horizon whisky

Need something strong to wash down the currywurst? Bentley Motors has collaborated with Scottish distillery, The Macallan Estate, to craft a single malt whisky called The Macallan Horizon.
This limited edition whisky comes in a horizontal bottle that鈥檚 inspired by the 鈥渉orizontal trajectory of the automotive world鈥 and 鈥渞epresents craftsmanship, creativity and innovation, paying homage to the rich heritage of both The Macallan and Bentley Motors鈥, The Macallan says.

You have to inquire about prices, but we鈥檙e sure a luxury picnic set like this would go mighty fine with your branded salt and pepper grinders, VW currywurst and ketchup, and that 拢42k bottle of single malt whisky.
Ferrari theme parks

This pick isn鈥檛 something you buy 鈥 it鈥檚 something you do鈥 unless you decide to buy a ton of merch while you鈥檙e there, of course. Indeed, there are two Ferrari-branded theme parks in the world that you can visit: Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Ferrari Land (part of PortAventura World) in Spain.
came first. It opened in November 2010 and is a mostly indoor theme park located on Yas Island, right next to the Yas Marina Circuit, home of the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. It鈥檚 also where you鈥檒l find Formula Rossa, which has held the record for the world鈥檚 fastest rollercoaster since 2010.

Then there鈥檚 , located within the PortAventura resort, about an hour and a half鈥檚 drive from Barcelona. It opened in April 2017 and has a distinct Mediterranean vibe, with recreations of Venice鈥檚 Piazza San Marco, Rome鈥檚 Colosseum, and even Ferrari鈥檚 factory in Maranello. It鈥檚 the tallest and fastest coaster in Europe, reaching speeds of up to 112 mph.

Elon Musk鈥檚 not-a-flamethrower

We left the strangest one until last: a flamethrower.
Before you question us: yes, we know this pick is a bit of a reach, considering it鈥檚 not directly made by a car company. But The Boring Company was founded by none other than eccentric billionaire Elon Musk, who also owns Tesla, so it sort of counts. And honestly, it鈥檚 just too weird to leave out.
In 2018, offered 20,000 flamethrowers 鈥 technically blowtorches shaped like guns 鈥 for $500 (拢360) each. They sold out in just a matter of days. While legal in most US states (except Maryland), the devices caused quite a stir.
When customs officials objected to importing anything labelled a 鈥榝lamethrower,鈥 Musk cheekily renamed them Not-A-Flamethrower, since they were more like roofing torches than actual weapons. He even sold a branded fire extinguisher alongside them, joking that it was 鈥渙verpriced鈥 but this one comes with a cool sticker.鈥
You won鈥檛 be able to buy a Not-A-Flamethrower in the UK due to strict import laws. In fact, under the Firearms Act 1968, they鈥檙e classified as prohibited weapons. While a few appear on secondhand sites such as eBay, we wouldn鈥檛 recommend trying to get your hands on one.
